Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Smart Meter app and Smart Luku website operated by Odamo Ltd. By signing in with a meter number or using the site, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Smart Meter lets registered customers view live usage, buy prepaid electricity tokens with mobile money, send tokens to a compatible Odamo meter (including over Bluetooth), review history, and submit support complaints.
Your account
Sign-in uses your meter number or QR code. You are responsible for tokens purchased on your meter and mobile-money payments you authorize.
Payments and tokens
Token purchases are payments for real-world electricity, not Apple or Google in-app digital goods. Tokens are typically non-refundable once generated, except where required by law or a confirmed payment failed to issue a token.
Acceptable use
Do not tamper with meters, bypass payment, attack our systems, or submit false complaints.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
